Description:

As the celestial messenger continues to reveal the future to Daniel in amazing and vivid detail, the race through history slows down to consider the rise to power of the "contemptible person", Antiochus Epiphanies. We will question why the angel would spend so much time on such a despicable, petty tyrant who cheats and murders his way to power. We will find the answer in the way he attacked Israel-- not just massacring her people, but seeking to surplant Yahweh worship and thereby destroying their souls as well. We will see in him the spirit of the antichrist, and a model the enemy will adopt and use against the church from that point until now. But we will also see how to effectively foil the aggressive attacks of the enemy, by remaining faithful to God, to His teachings and promises, and thereby remain beyond the reach of evil.
