Description:

As our focus turns to the Passion of Christ, Luke reveals the evil intention of Judas Iscariot to make an unholy alliance with the the chief priests in order to betray Jesus into their hands. We will learn, however, that it is more than just Judas’ intention at work, but also the nefarious intention of satan himself who "entered" Judas prior to the alliance. We will delve into what this means and ask the question whether Judas is culpable for his actions if he is "possessed" by satan. But ultimately we will realize that regardless of the intention of Judas, or the priests, or satan, or indeed all the forces of evil-- the only intention that really matters is God's intention! For even though satan's intention is in contention with God's-- it is the Lord's sovereign intention that will always prevail.
