We offer Sunday school for children ages Pre-K through 4th grade. Sunday school at this level is designed to instill a foundational knowledge of the Bible and it's major themes of God's love, redemption, and salvation.The curriculum is also designed to foster a desire in our children to grow in their understanding of Christ and develop an abiding love for the Word of God.
When: 10:15 am every Sunday morning, inbetween services.
Nursery
Where: Classroom "B". On the far side of the Fellowship hall, on your left. Beyond the hallway that leads to the choir room and before you enter the hallway to the left of the kitchen.
Led by: Mrs. Debbie Trent
PreK-4 through 1st Grade
Where: Classroom "A". As soon as you enter the Fellowship hall, turn right. The door to the classroom "A" is immediately on your right.
Focus: Questions and answers about Jesus
Led by: Phyllis Gunther
Ms. Phyllis has blessed the children of New Hope with her Bible stories for years. This class concentrates on teaching the great stories and truths of the Bible in a way the children will remember for a lifetime.
2nd through 4th Grade
Where: In the choir room. After entering the Fellowship hall, stay close to the brick wall and walk to the first hallway on your left. Turn left and proceed down the hall. The choir room will be just around the corner to your right at the end of the hall.
Focus: Sharing the Gospel through puppets and storytelling.
Led by: Ms. Janet Sessa
This class is designed to give hands-on experience to students in sharing their faith utilizing portions of "Kid's Evangelism Explosion" and puppets. We will also learn how to tell short versions of key Bibile stories with accuracy from memory. Our intention is to equip our children to be able to give an answer for the hope we have in Christ directly out of the Scriptures.
